Northern Irish Conservatives are in a tizzy right now; the head of the nation’s ruling political party temporarily stepped down today after this whole mess where his homophobic 59-year old wife had an affair with a 19-year old. But check out the Belfast Telegraph for this really important breaking story about how 14-year olds think that blondes really are dumber.
Krist Novoselic wrote a column in Seattle Weekly last week defending Bono for his remarks that content providers should be responsible for file sharing. Really, though, I think that moral of this story is that at some point in the last fifteen years Krist Novoselic morphed into a totally hunky bear.
Submissions are now being taken for the 2010 edition of Best Music Writing.
Finally, not that I needed an article to inform me of this, but freelancing kinda sucks these days.
